Training

At Hytech-Pommec, we believe that equipment is only as effective as the people who operate it. That’s why we offer a range of specialized training courses designed for professionals working with hyperbaric systems and breathing apparatus, tailored to the needs of commercial diving companies, industrial cleaning firms and the medical sector. Our training sessions combine hands-on experience with expert technical insights, ensuring participants are fully equipped to operate and maintain their systems safely and efficiently.

Hyperbaric chamber operator training

Our operator training for hyperbaric chambers is often conducted on-site at the customer’s location. This training is ideal for those responsible for daily operation and basic troubleshooting of hyperbaric chambers. During the session, the operator will receive in-depth technical explanations of the system’s functions, safety protocols and emergency procedures. By working directly with the chamber in its real environment, participants gain practical experience tailored to their specific setup.

KMDSI repair training

We offer Kirby Morgan Dive Systems (KMDSI) repair training led by certified KMDSI technician and instructor Peer Heijnen. This hands-on course is essential for dive technicians and professionals responsible for maintaining diving helmets and band masks.

Two-day basic repair training

This course focuses on two distinct helmets or band masks—such as repairing the SL27 helmet in combination with the 18/288 band mask. Available training dates in 2025 are 17–18 September and 12–13 November. Registration is required in advance. Please use the contact form and indicate your preferred date.

Three-day comprehensive repair training

This extended course is recommended when working with a broader range of helmets and band masks. It allows for deeper technical training and more complex repair procedures. It is an excellent choice for companies managing a diverse helmet fleet. This training is on request. Contact us for further information.

All KMDSI training sessions are conducted in compliance with manufacturer standards and include the latest tools, techniques, and safety requirements.

Life support operator training

This training focuses on the safe and efficient use of breathing apparatus (BA) cases, which are critical for life support during commercial diving operations or in controlled medical or industrial environments. The BA case consists of two panels – A and B.

  • Panel A: enables the operator to select, control and monitor the air supply sources.
  • Panel B: distributes the breathing air to up to 4 helmets or 8 breathing masks

Participants will become familiar with the operation of the air distribution system, learn how to connect and disconnect breathing lines, and understand the different couplings and configurations available. This training ensures that life support operators can act quickly and safely, especially in high-pressure environments.
