Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the safety, reliability, and longevity of your life support and pressure-related equipment. At Hytech-Pommec, we provide comprehensive maintenance services tailored to the needs of commercial diving companies, industrial cleaning contractors, and medical institutions. Depending on the type of equipment, maintenance is required either annually or biannually.
Maintenance intervals and scope
- Inspection and calibration of depth gauges
- Calibration of gas analysers
- Replacement of oxygen cells (annually)
- Replacement of O-rings and back-up rings
- Replacement of worn valve seats if needed
- Replacement of lip seals
- Wall thickness measurement (every five years)
This detailed maintenance ensures that all systems continue to function safely and effectively, even under the most demanding conditions.

Compliant with industry guidelines
All maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Stichting Werken onder OverDruk (SWOD). These guidelines form part of the official Dutch occupational safety standards for working under pressure and are documented in the Arbocatalogus WOO. Operations Manager – Commercial Diving Company

On-site or in-house service
Maintenance can be carried out at our fully equipped service facility in Raamsdonksveer, the Netherlands. Alternatively, we offer on-site maintenance to minimise operational downtime for our clients. Whether you operate offshore, in a hospital environment, or on industrial premises, we can bring our expertise to you.
Certification and independent testing
Upon completion of the maintenance work, we issue a certificate confirming the service and the condition of your equipment. For clients who require third-party verification, we can coordinate an inspection by a certified body of your choice, such as Lloyd’s Register or DNV.
During such inspections, the chamber or system is pressurised to verify correct operation of all safety features, including overpressure release mechanisms and pressure relief systems. These inspections provide added assurance for equipment that must meet the highest industry standards.
