Quality
Commitment to quality and compliance
When safety, reliability, and performance matter most, compliance with international standards is essential. Hytech-Pommec designs and manufactures systems that meet the world’s leading guidelines and certifications—helping customers ensure safe and dependable operations across sectors such as commercial diving, medical hyperbarics, offshore, and defense.
On request, systems can be designed and delivered in accordance with:
IMCA guidelines
These globally recognized standards from the International Marine Contractors Association define best practices for offshore diving systems and support equipment. Adhering to IMCA guidelines means clients benefit from safer operations, reduced risk, and higher acceptance in the global offshore industry.

CE marking
CE marking indicates compliance with European health, safety, and environmental protection legislation. Products bearing the CE mark can be freely traded throughout the European Economic Area—an advantage for companies operating internationally.
Class certification
For systems used in maritime or offshore environments, classification societies offer independent verification of structural and safety compliance. Certification is often a prerequisite for deployment on vessels and platforms, giving customers peace of mind.
MDR certification (in progress)
The Medical Device Regulation (EU 2017/745) sets strict safety and performance requirements for medical-grade devices in Europe. Certification for our medical systems is currently underway, demonstrating a commitment to the highest level of patient and user safety.
“Working with Hytech-Pommec means working with a partner who consistently demonstrates a deep understanding of international standards, and a strong commitment to safety and technical integrity.”
Certification specialist
Working with renowed certification bodies
To ensure consistent quality, systems are often certified in collaboration with trusted international classification and certification bodies, including:

Lloyd’s Register (LR)
With a long history in engineering inspection and compliance, LR is respected worldwide for its work in risk management and technical assurance. Working with LR adds a layer of independent credibility to critical equipment.
DNV (Det Norske Veritas)
One of the most prominent classification societies, DNV is widely recognized in the energy, maritime, and healthcare sectors. Certification from DNV ensures that products meet industry-leading technical and environmental standards.

TÜV
TÜV is a group of German organizations that offer inspection and product certification across a broad range of industries. TÜV certification is especially relevant for CE compliance, machinery safety, and medical equipment.
ABS
Specializing in maritime and offshore classification, ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) is known for stringent quality and safety requirements. Certification by ABS supports global acceptance, particularly in the oil & gas and naval sectors.
