The Arvest MK5 combines the Arvest harness design with releasable weight pockets for surface diving. Its six pockets each hold up to 8 lbs of lead, and two nylon-pull rods allow ready release.
The strong Arvest base material distributes the load across the body and supports a fully equipped diver. Lower D-rings provide tool or umbilical attachment points, while Velcro secures loose strap tails.
Shoulder-mounted D-rings and a central chest D-ring allow attachment of appropriate recovery tackle in the event of injury. The through-crutch straps must remain fitted for the harness to remain safe and effective.
