The Earphone Microphone Assembly features an updated, more durable design with reinforced components and improved functionality. The upgraded assembly includes new EP-4 potted earphones, Kevlar-reinforced cables and stronger strain reliefs for increased breaking strength.
The larger Push-to-Talk (PTT) housing provides increased strength, additional electronic encapsulation and easier operation. An integrated PTT protection circuit helps protect the switch when used with pre-amplified surface stations.
The hot microphone features a supporting saddle for the microphone and wires. Updated earphone holders with button snaps complete the improved design.
